The spelling competition (classroom level) was held on 1st August 2009 at the school hall Sekolah Rendah Dato Pemancha Saging Ukong, Tutong II. The event took place at 8.00 am until 9.45 am. All students, by the age of 10 to 12 years old, took part in this spelling competition was tested on their spelling skills in written form.

Students were seated according to their classes label on each desk
Cikgu Abdul Hasri as the master speller for the spelling competition and Cikgu Nurhanani as the host for the event.
